Project: 40 MW revamping and repowering Owner’s engineer
Client: AE-Sun Capital, among the top renewable energy IPP in Italy, owned 60% by Equitix and 40% by Acea Produzione, operates in the renewable energy sector. Its shareholders are Acea Produzione S.p.A. for 40% and Equitix Italia Holdco 1 EFII for 60%, which is part of the Equitix group, a British investment fund managed by Equitix Investment Management Limited.
Activities:
SunGAP supported Acea Sun Capital throughout all phases of the revamping and repowering project of a portfolio of 39 PV plants, with a total capacity of approximately 40 MW.SunGAP handled the preliminary design, the authorization process, and the development of functional specifications. It also assisted the Client during the beauty contest phase for the selection of the EPC contractor.During the executive phase of the works, SunGAP coordinated the technical stakeholders involved and supervised the construction activities up to commissioning.
