Client: ContourGlobal, a KKR company, is a leading Independent Power Producer with nearly 20 years of growth and diversification. It manage 5,3 GW of installed capacity across countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. The company specializes in acquiring and developing power generation assets with long-term contracts and offers innovative offtake solutions like advanced PPAs and hedging instruments to maximize value.
Activities: SunGAP is currently supporting the Client in identifying the optimal technical solution for the construction of three photovoltaic plants — two located in Sicily with a combined capacity of 67.5 MW, and one in Piedmont with a capacity of approximately 6 MW. Sungap is focusing on the executive engineering of the plants including all activities required during the design phase by the regional authorities (Compliance Project), such as mitigation measures, hydraulic works, and civil engineering. The goal is to maximize revenue, minimize construction time, ensure the highest quality, and establish a new best practice in the utility-scale solar industry.
