Client: Axpo Group is Switzerland’s largest producer of renewable energy, operating across Europe in solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and green hydrogen. It manages around 3,200 MW of renewable capacity, primarily through hydropower, with additional assets in wind and solar via subsidiaries like Volkswind and Urbasolar. The company is expanding its portfolio with large-scale solar and wind projects, offering tailored energy solutions and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Activities: SunGAP had supported the Client in identifying the optimal technical solution for the construction of four photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 25 MW. Sungap was focused on the detailed engineering of the plants, including all activities required by regional authorities during the authorization phase, such as mitigation measures, hydraulic works, and civil engineering. The goal was to maximize revenue, minimize construction time, ensure the highest quality, and establish a new best practice in the utility-scale solar industry.
